Since 2017, KSMO and ASCO leadership holds an organizational meeting at ASCO Annual Meeting.
KSMO-ASCO MOU
KSMO and ASCO Signed on the Memorandum of Understanding on September 11, 2023. “Since its founding, KSMO has established itself as a leading voice in medical oncology in Korea, Asia, and around the world,” noted ASCO President Lynn M. Schuchter, MD, FASCO. “Through dedicated efforts in education and research, KSMO has greatly advanced multidisciplinary cancer care to the benefit of countless patients with cancer in Korea. With ASCO’s many shared goals, KSMO and ASCO have been natural partners since the very beginning.
Best of ASCO in Korea
An annual event, the Best of ASCO in Korea takes place every August. It has become a must-attend event for healthcare professionals in the field of oncology in Korea. Since 2006, the event has been held in various cities across Korea, attracting attendees to enjoy their summer break.
