The test tube is used as a motif to express credibility, and nature is depicted as a representation of life, symbolizing the improvement of cancer patients' quality of life and the promotion of research and development by the Korean Society of Medical Oncology.

The second logo of the Korean Society of Medical Oncology was created around the motif of 'Pieces' (the keyword for diverse treatment methods) and 'Tomorrow' (the keyword for a promising future for all), symbolizing the principles of a society that aims to help a multitude of cancer patients through research on a wide range of treatments.
